Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Sample Coordinator to join our team and contribute to our growth at both manufacturing plants.

Responsibilities:

  • Sample Preparation: Prepare and package samples of our glass products according to specifications and customer requests.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an organized inventory of sample materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all samples meet our strict quality standards before shipment.
  • Coordination with Production: Work closely with the production team to manufacture custom samples, ensuring specifications and deadlines are met.
  • Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with vendors to receive sample materials required for production, ensuring timely delivery and quality of materials.
  • Shipping: Arrange and coordinate the shipment of samples to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of all sample requests, shipments, and inventory levels.
  • Customer Interaction: Communicate with customers regarding their sample requests, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Process Follow-Up: Follow up on the sample production process as needed to ensure timely delivery to the sales team for customer presentations.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve sample preparation and fulfillment processes, enhancing efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or product-focused environment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management and shipping software.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification is a plus.
